Staff Biography Welcome to the Flightline Training Service Team: Phyl Durdey Director of Training phyl@flightlinetraining.com Phyl Durdey the Director of Training is also the founder of Flightline Training Services. Phyl’s aviation Career started in 1987 when he joined the Canadian Airforce as an Airframe technician. He enjoyed a 10 year career working on Tutors, C130 Hercules, T-33’s and his favorite Dash-8. His duties included Line maintenance, heavy maintenance, parts overhaul and teaching Dash-8 type courses. In 1997 Phyl left the Airforce to work at FlightSafety Canada, he was awarded the supervisors position in 1998. Phyl left FlightSafety in 2001 and started Flightline Training Services. Phyl lives in Brampton with his wife Carolyn and two boys Brian 11 and Tyler 5. He also has 2 older children Stephanie and Johnathan who live in Winnipeg. His favorite pass times are anything to do with aviation, cooking (Phyl is a certified Chef) and most of all spending time with his family. [ return to staff bios ]
