It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our good friend Shelby Lucky. “Lucky” passed away on October 7th 2009 while on vacation in New Mexico with his loving wife Delores. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him, anyone that did know him had their own story of how he touched their lives.
Lucky loved to teach the SAAB 340, it was just plain fun for him to get in front of a class and entertain them for 2 weeks. At the end of the course the students knew that aircraft and had fun learning it.
We who knew him, and the industry he loved, has lost a great person.
And as he himself often said “Later Bubba!!”
