ATR 42 300/320 Type Course

Training Course

3 week training program designed for the mechanic working on the ATR 42 aircraft.

The ATR 300/320 Type course will provide the student with the technical knowledge to service and maintain the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner. The course includes system description, details of operation, component location, certain tests and tasks associated with the technicians' day-to-day activities. Safety and maintenance practices unique to the airframe are also described. The course meets or exceeds the requirements as listed in Transport Canada 's CAR 566, and the scope detailed by ATA Specification 104 Level 3.

The extensive use of the actual aircraft for the hands-on portion of the course, provides the student with a first-hand knowledge of the components. The Flightline Training Services course usually exceeds the 5% hands-on requirement of Transport Canada regulations. We have found that the technician is more proficient on the aircraft sooner, thus reducing the your costs.

ATR 42 or ATR 72 Continuation Training Course

3 or 5 Day training program designed for the mechanic maintaining the ATR 42 or 72 aircraft.

The ATR 42 or 72 Continuation Training course will provide the student with the most up to date technical information that will assist the technician in their day-to-day maintenance of the aircraft. The course includes a review of the latest Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Modifications to the aircraft. Selected systems review followed by a technically challenging exercise will test the students troubleshooting abilities.

Transport Canada Approved Training Course

2, 3 or 5 Day training program designed for the mechanic maintaining the ATR 42 aircraft

The ATR Bridging courses are designed for the Technician who is currently working on a specific model of ATR aircraft, and there being a need for training on the other series of the aircraft.

Course pre-requisites: Students must have attended an approved ATR 42 Type course.

ATR 42 or 72 Familiarization Training Course

3 Day Non Technical Course

Designed for the support staff of the operator. The course will provide the student with a basic knowledge of the aircraft systems and components.

5 Day Technical Course


Designed for the management staff providing a technical in-depth view of the aircraft systems and components.
